The stores were already painted that Pepto-Bismol shade of pink before the ball dropped on New Year's Eve. Valentine's day is coming. Fast. So if you're in need of outfit ideas for Cupid's birthday, that aren't the head to toe pink and red ensembles you were forced to wear in elementary school, look no further! Below are some outfits perfect for any occasion that only have a hint of the trademark colors.
Outfit #1 - Velvet Goldmine

This tough but tender look is fun, super easy to replicate, and best of all, warm!
Outfit #2- Pretty as a Princess

A graphic princess tee paired with a gingham skirt might sound implausible in theory, but looks like a dream in person. Pastel pink Mary Jane flats are the last piece of the puzzle.
Outfit #3- Raspberry Beret

What starts as a boring all-black outfit, but with a punchy red beret and platform western inspired boots it becomes the perfect Valentines day outfit.
Outfit#4- Lacy Loo

Easy, breezy, sundress with comfortable converse is always a great idea.
Outfit #5- Knee socks & Docs

Red and white stripes, overalls, knee socks, Doc Martens, and a Keroac hat. Lots of trends going on at once but life is short.
Outfit #6- Rebel Red

Monochromatic has been really big in the last few years and this rosy red shift with platforms in the same shade is adorable and right on trend.
