My Back to School Shopping Wish List

It's back to school shopping season, and while I'm probably not going to buy anything brand new, a girl can dream. Everybody knows the best part of going back to school is finding your first day of school outfit, or even an investment piece that will last all year. Recess Junkie Mary Janes from Delia's $75

I love chunky shoes! They make me feel taller and they're just super cute. This velvety pair of Mary Janes from Delia's will go with anything and are perfect paired with a tartan skirt or minidress.

John Galt Plaid Jane Pants from Pacsun- $38.00

Speaking of plaid, I'm loving this pants from Pacsun. I think plaid pants are amazing because they're so timeless and most people don't even realize it. Mary Tyler Moore, Rachel Green, and Betty Draper have all rocked pants like these in their own respective time periods. For a grunge look pair with a band tee and Chuck Taylors, or for a more retro outfit swap out your tee for a cropped sweater and your chucks for loafers.

Mock Neck Bodysuit from Forever 21- $14.90

I actually have one of these already, and it's one of my favorite tops! I just need a new one, since I've completely worn out my last one. I love to layer it under a shift dress for a mod look, or pair it with jeans for a no fuss outfit.

I've Shirred So Much About You Bustier Top from Nasty Gal- $22

Feel pretty in pink in this romantic top in a soft pink color! The perfect top for the bipolar Bakersfield weather. This top would look adorable with a flowy skirt.

Red Lace Up Boots Block Heel Ankle Boots from FSJ Shoes- $84.99

I originally fell in love with these red lace up boots when I saw them in a Chloe advertisement in Vogue, but Chloe boots cost a little under $900 so I found these almost identical knock offs for a 10th of the price. I mean, they're still way to expensive, but a girl can dream.

Rita Crop Flare Jean from Free People- $64

The perfect crop flare jeans! I've been searching for the perfect pair since I saw Lady Bird. I love the way she pairs these with heeled boots and an over sized jackets.

The Shy Little Kitten Unisex T-shirt from Out of Print- $30

My favorite book when I was little, turned into an adorable pink t-shirt! How cute is the little kitten!?!? I melt every time I look in it's little eyes.

Pink Slip Skirt from Zara- $34

A fun and flirty basic that could be worn with a chunky sweater in the winter or a tank top come spring.

Brown Corduroy Trench Coat from Nasty Gal -$22

It's no secret how much I love coats, especially textured ones like this. I really dig the Bolshevik vibes I'm getting from this Nasty Gal coat.

Who wouldn't want to wear their heart on their shoes? These school girl chic loafers will spice up any ensemble.

Ever find yourself annoyed at having to carry around a clutch at your school dance? These mini purses are perfect for holding your lip gloss and maybe your keys!

Aeri Real Sunnie Demi Push Up Bra- $29.97

One thing I definitely need is a new bra. I think the last time I bought one was freshman year.

Everyone needs a good jean jacket and this one is practically perfect! The medium wash goes with everything and makes the jacket look pre-loved.

This two toned sweater with hearts is the perfect piece for fall. It'll stand out from all your other boring sweaters, because of the bright colors!

Bullet Journal in Pink by Poluma- $8.89

I got my first bullet journal for Christmas this year and I've just completely filled it up with doodles, writing ideas, and appointments. I'm definitely going to need a new one to help me remember anything.

These babies have been on my wish list since I saw Julia Roberts wore a similar pair in Notting Hill!

"Sometimes I Sit and Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit." by Courtney Barnett Vinyl from Barnes and Nobles- $18.99

One of my favorite albums to listen to while studying, I'd love to have the vinyl to play while I'm taking notes or writing.

Ribbed Polo Shirt Mini Dress from Forever 21- $18.00

A basic little dress, that can be worn all year round.

Skipping Daydreams Buckle Skirt- $45.00

I'm in desperately in need of another basic black skirt after I outgrew my favorite suede button down mini from last year. This ones got an edgy black buckle to make it stand out!

More Than Enough: Claiming Space for Who You Are (No Matter What They Say) by Elaine Welteroth - $14.24

Written by former Teen Vogue Editor, Elaine Welteroth, I've been wanting to read More Than Enough since it came out this June! Now that I've finished my summer reading I can't wait to read it between periods.
